Codemotion Milano: Third Edition – 18/21 November

Announcing Codemotion Milan 2015: the biggest Tech Conference for developers and tech lovers is expected to drawn more than 2000 attendees for 100 talks delivered by best speaker across Europe.
Keynote speakers: Rasmus Lerdorf, PHP creator, Birgitta Boeckeler, Frédéric Lavigne, Joe Nash and James Higgs.
For the second year Codemotion Milan will be held at the Politecnico University, in Milan, Campus Bovisa on November 18th to 21st .
Two days of conference and two days of workshops . A strong track on security and plenty of space to PHP and its framework .
And then Startup area, in collaboration with PoliHub, showcase GameDev, Maker area and space to Kids!
Conference!
Codemotion brings in Milan 100 talks in two days, 8 parallel tracks which address the hottest issues for software developers: Security , first of all , and then Frontend/Backend, Mobile, IoT, DevOps, Bigdata/cloud, Functional.
Rasmus Lerdorf , the father of PHP , will hold the keynote about the prospects and the horizons of language he has written; Birgitta Boeckeler, James Higgs, Frédéric Lavigne and Joe Nash will also tread the board as keynote speakers.
As usually, the conference will be accompanied by codelabs hands-on , where participants can get in touch with the latest products and technologies.
Great expectations for the codelab specifically dedicated to women developer , in which women will be invited to improve their technical skills through a series of exercises to be performed in pairs (Pair Programming) .
Startup/Maker/Gamedev Areas
Every year about 20 high potential, highly disruptive startups join us, catching the great opportunity for the best hi-tech Startups to meet the best developers and showcase their product to engineers, Italian ICT companies and large international companies which attend to the event.
Mashape, Sailsquare, FiLo, Qurami, ClickMeter and many more successful startups already have been with us in last events, and this year looks set to be even more successful.
The startups will be selected by Codemotion and PoliHub – Startup District Incubator by Fondazione Politecnico di Milano – to have a free desk at Codemotion Milan 2015.
Great expectations also for the GameDev showcase, in which the best indie game developers will present their game and try to become a part of the independent gaming market which globally is worth about $10 billion (source Eurispes ).
Finally, in the Maker Area, attendees can discover and experience ideations and creations about the Internet of Things .
Codemotion Kids
Codemotion Kids, the largest school of coding and robotics for kids in Italy , will set special workshops for youngster coders on Saturday 21st November.
Labs and experiential desk will be an opportunity for children aged 7 to 15 years to write their first game thanks to Scratch – language teaching developed at MIT in Boston – or try to make the first robot and circuits using LEDs , detectors and Arduino.
